Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTIMOTHY PARYNUICK Peacefully with family by his side, on Thursday, July 27, 2006 at the Portage District General Hospital, Timothy Parynuick of Newton, MB, beloved husband of Frances Parynuick, passed away at the age of 82 years. Prayers will be held in the chapel of the Omega Funeral Home, Portage la Prairie, MB on Tuesday evening, August 1 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday morning, August 2 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Fr. Michael Wollbaum officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Tim was born in Vilauche Buchovina, Romania, son of Vasecena and Nicholas Parynuick. At the age of 12 he immigrated to Canada, to Newton to live with his grandfather; Mike Parynuick. At a young age, (which he lied about), he joined the Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders of Canada, serving overseas in Britain, fighting in the Dieppe Raid and then in 1944 in France, where he was wounded in action at Normandy in July of 1944. In 1945 he returned to Canada and on January 1, 1946 he married Frances Omichinski and they resided on the farm for their entire 60 years of marriage. Tim was a member of the Good Shepherd Parish, the Knights of Columbia-4th degree, the Royal Canadian Legion and the Cameron Association. He served as secretary of the local UGG Board, the Manitoba Dairy and Poultry Co-op and the Broiler Hatching Egg Producers Board. He enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and crossword puzzles. Predeceased by his parents; his grandfather, Mike Parynuick and his uncle Bill Parynuick, he leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Frances and one son, Timothy Jr. Also surviving is one sister, Paraska of Ukraine; cousins, Mike (Minnie) Parynuick of Beaver, MB, Polly (Rudy) Weday of Portage and many nieces and nephews. Should friends so desire, memorial donations may be made in Tim's name to the Good Shepherd Building Fund or a charity of ones choice.
